STEM week of SKT International Program
Problem Solving Through Board Game
This year, we required different layers of skills from our students;
Science - Mathematics - English - Arts and Design, ICT also multiple soft skills.
We do personally believe in group work because it allows our students to understand more about themselves and their teams. For instance, how to convince their team members to choose their ideas, how to plan and assign team members to work, or how to grade their team and other team performances.
From our perspectives, the project outcomes turn out very well since the first day. Some groups did a good job in-game and stuff preparation, some group gave a good presentation, some have a strong friendship and leadership skills, etc.
I hope this year's STEM project is going to be a foundation for our students to be ready for any challenge in the future, especially when it comes to teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
