Students from Year 10 to Year 13 of Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School's International Programme Visit Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT)
On July 30, 2024, students from Year 10 to Year 13 of Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School's International Program visited Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) at Thammasat University. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the faculties and university, and to prepare them for future higher education.
The activities included:
Introduction to SIIT: Faculty and staff at SIIT welcomed the students and provided an overview of the institute's history, vision, and various faculties. They also introduced the English-taught curriculum, designed to prepare students for the international stage.
University Tour: Students toured the university, visiting classrooms, laboratories, and the library. These facilities are equipped with modern amenities to enhance the learning experience.
Hands-on Activities: Students had the opportunity to participate in practical activities in various laboratories, gaining real-world experience and using state-of-the-art equipment. They also received guidance from SIIT faculty and students.
The students who participated in this visit gained new experiences and knowledge about SIIT and Thammasat University. This will be beneficial for their decision-making when choosing a faculty and university in the future. Additionally, it provided an opportunity for students to learn and prepare for higher education.
